Doors Reopened
One of Perth's most beautifully appointed gallery spaces is having new life breathed into it.
Dormant for almost three years now, Gallows Gallery in Mosman Park has officially reopened under the finely tuned eye of Kathryn Stafford. The first exhibition, in June - A Taste of Things to Come - is scheduled to feature works by each of its represented artists, including Linda Skrolys, Nellie Crawford and Margaret Benoit. The program will showcase an exuberant mix of painting, sculpture and glass. Kathryn, who is the daughter of gallery owner and arts ambassador Marlene Stafford, says she already has exhibitions booked into 2012. The first solo show will open on July 22nd with a collection by Perth-born painter Dianna Watson.
